This project will encapsulate the exploration of how the interaction between local materials and the cultural lifecycles shapes the essence of the architectural environment in Ghardaïa. It delves into how the lifecycle of materials, influenced by the ecological environment, intertwines with the cultural practices and customs of the Mozabite community to create an authentic spirit of place.

Research goal.
To unveil the phenomenological dimension of the built environment through the intrinsic link between materiality, culture and the Spirit of Place in Ghardaïa, I aim to explore new approaches to curation that convey the embodied qualities of architecture in Ghardaïa.
